In March 2026, Rudy came for the second time and did an estimate for just bush trimming this time. Again he was great. He listened carefully to all the things I needed done and how I wanted it done. He was patient, gave wonderful advice that was very helpful and wrote down everything plus took videos to make sure. He was knowledgeable and very professional. He’s a great asset to your company. About a week later, Jose, Maximo and Juan came and did everything exactly how I wanted. It was perfect. I’m very pleased with the result once again. Everyone, including you Lorin, do a fantastic job of making it work and exceeding every expectation. I definitely will use your company again next year and tell family and friends. God bless. ~ BB L

Got an estimate which was very detailed. He even videotaped the work that we agreed needed to be done. After getting other estimates, Action Tree had the best value. I then accepted the bid they had given me and within a week we had scheduled a date and time. A rainy day caused a reschedule, but it was only a couple of days later to let the ground dry out. The crew showed up and said that they had reviewed the video, but also wanted me to verify the work to be done. 3 guys took care of about 10 trees and a couple of piles of brush in about 4 hours. They had a chipper that discharged into the back of their truck. Took all the debris with them. Sent me an invoice through email. Very professional. Highly recommend!!! ~ Dale S

This is a very professional and friendly company. My encounter with customer service to make the appointment was pleasant. I was actually able to speak with a person right away. Some other companies I called I got voice mail but their mailbox was full and I couldn't leave a message. The arborist was on time to look at the trees I needed serviced. The workers were here early because they had a cancellation but they did call first to let me know. They were extremely fast and they did great work. They were patient and answered all of my questions. They just had an all around pleasant disposition. The whole experience with Action Tree Service was great and I would recommend them to my friends. ~ Robin M

Very professional from top to bottom, office staff was very attentive and scheduled my estimate and work to my satisfaction and kept me appraised if there would be any changes. The estimator walked through the yard with me taking video of everything I pointed out and then he pointed out suggestions that really did help enhance the beauty of the trees. When the crew got here, they made sure that the set up location was okay with me, wanted to make sure that they knew where everything underground was so they did not break any sprinklers or anything else that was sensitive in the area. Then commence to work and did a very professional job, clean up was outstanding a lot better than I could have imagined. ~ Robert R

Action Tree Service has provided excellent services to us twice. They responded next-day for the estimate both times and fit us in the next day on or second job. Preston provided fair estimates, he is very professional and provides alternatives to saving the tree. Jose was the crew leader on both jobs and he was very good at his job. He would call me if he had a specific question during the job, he kept his crew moving around, if they finished cutting he immediately had them start cleanup. The tree trimmer with the chainsaw was a sight to see, the way they tether branches before they cut is amazing. They did an excellent job on both jobs! The crew at action tree service is top notch. They responded quickly after I called them about the Texas massive winter storm in '21 that took out power for days and destroyed 4 of my trees and injured several others. In three days they removed 4 trees and cleaned up 5 others. They de-mossed a giant oak tree on my property and cleaned it up as well. This team can do and does it well. They are prompt, professional and supportive. You would think this all would cost a fortune but they quoted my prices well below competitors and came in right at their quotes. If you want the right people working on your property, it is Action Tree Service. ~ David R

We have used Action Tree Service 5 or 6 times since at least 2006 according to my posts on Angie's List. All were for routine tree trimming except one for wind damage. I call them, they come and give a price and they advise when they might be available. They then call with an appointment day and approximate time. On October 23, 2017 they arrived with a large truck and shredder. Six men, one a crew leader, made the crew. They trimmed limbs and cleared the canopy in two hours. They are a well oiled crew and work full time. The trimmers climb the trees and used good safety measures for themselves and the house and landscape. They rake and blow the yard leaving all better than before their work. Yes, a few trimmings will fall with the next windy day. They listen to my concerns before work and during the work. Watch them work and you will be impressed. ~ Nena M

I am 100% satisfied with this company and the work/service they provided for me. From the first phone call I made to them to request an estimate,to the gentleman who came and provided the estimate including options which allowed me to save money, to the 4 man crew supervised by Tony,everyone was outstanding. They were all friendly,professional,knowledgeable and customer service oriented! Everyone was on time for their appointments, in fact,the crew was early and completed the job very quickly and it was a very big tree with obstacles(another tree,fence,neighbors roof and yard)they were completely careful and considerate of. I intend to have more work in the future, and I was so impressed by these folks, I don’t feel the need to call anybody but them to come back. I highly recommend this company to everyone! I have used Travis from Action Tree Service multiple times whether it was tree trimming to tree removals. He has always been super responsive with answering his phone on the spot. He makes scheduling so easy and when he sets the date and time, he shows up and gets the job done. My communication with Travis has only been over the phone. I live in California and it's very hard to trust companies in getting the job done. He has always come through for me and what I like the most from Travis is that in order to keep me in the loop of the project he, without any hesitation, sends me pictures of the completed job and gets my approval. This company "gets it"! Called for an estimate and the very next day a professional representative, Preston (owner/manager), arrived on time and walked our job with us. We had several trees to remove and one to shape. He took the time to understand what we wanted to accomplish, he took several pictures and we received a very competitive price. After getting a couple more estimates we booked with Action Tree. The work crew showed up on time, the lead walked the job with me, and they were very meticulous about the project and worked with me to open up the view in our yard without taking out unnecessary trees. They were hard working, professional and conscientious about cleaning up the job site. This was a a big job and they handled it just as I had hoped! We've used other tree companies in the past but this experience will put Action Tree at the top of our list in the future! Great job, guys! ~ Jan H

I just had my second amazing experience with Action Tree Service. This company is responsive and extremely professional, from the estimate stage though completion. Preston provided a prompt estimate of my project and the price was very reasonable. He spent time with me examining trees and providing sound advice. I can’t say enough about the crew of five guys that did the job. They were so kind, friendly and efficient and they did an incredible job. They were so neat and left my home in impeccable order. AWESOME SERVICE! I had a few trees that needed to be trimmed and one that needed to be completely removed that was leaning over my house and the neighbors. Called a few other companies and some were no shows or didn't have insurance.... I called Action Tree Service and they were very polite, arrived on time, and did a great job with the trimming and SAFELY removed the tree that had been worrying me! :-) They cleaned up everything and had it done in a few hours, they hauled off everything, raked the yard up, and blew the sawdust off the roof and sidewalks. I'm very pleased and will definitely use in the future! ~ Heidi M

I will certainly use their services again and highly recommend them. A large limb broke on a pecan tree and fell on the electric cable messenger to the house. It required tree climbers to remove the limb from the tree because the ground was too soft to drive over. They came out right away to check it out, then returned the next day and removed the limb from the tree and the messenger cable. I also scheduled the removal and disposal of a large grapefruit tree which was killed by the arctic winter vortex. They also did this job right on schedule. ~ John H

This is true customer service and how companies should operate. With the recent rains I had an extremely large tree that went down. I called a few companies and was given removal dates in October/November. I called Action and spoke to Marcus. He met me at my house two hours later, gave me a fair estimate and said he could have it removed two days later. The crew showed up on time and was very professional. Within a couple of hours the tree was gone, you could not even tell it had been there. Would not hesitate recommending this company or using them in the future. ~ Steven R

I had some pretty severe issues with trees and our roof. I selected Action Tree Service because of positive reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. It was a five-star experience from start to finish. The estimator Marcus looked at the entire property and presented me with a plan that I thought was very thorough, with a very reasonable price. Anthony and his crew arrived a couple of days later and took care of everything. The amazing thing was that when they left, all the trees were trimmed, and clean-up was so complete that you couldn't tell they had even been there. Amazing. ~ FC R

All I can say is wow! They must treat their employees well because 6 of them showed up on time, with mask on, ready to get busy on two trees in my front yard. They were extremely professional and as careful as was to be expected not to damage my landscape. One tree was fairly large but they had both down and gone in about 2.5 hours, except for the stump grinding. They also cleaned up my yard beyond expectations. The team is exactly what the name implys... Action Tree Service, They will get many referrals from me in the future... No other tree company will ever touch my trees. ~ John G

I contacted a lot of companies trying to get someone to come out and see if my gate was big enough to fit the machine in the back yard. Most took the measurements I gave and said it was too close to try. They were the only ones that insisted on coming out and actually looking at it. They recommended taking the door off the gate to add some more room. They helped me take it off and it fit. They did great, and very quick work. Removed three stumps for me. If I had more stumps I'd use them again. ~ Joel

The office is also very helpful, polite and friendly. I They did a great job trimming and cutting down a trees. Here’s how simple and honest hard working people operate: I called them for a quote on a 30’ + tree removal. Project lead man came out and wrote down some notes and five minutes later I had a extremely affordable quote. He made a video for the guys to preplan. And he’s said they would arrive two days later at 8:00am. Two days later 8:00am on-time and around 8:15am chainsaws began. And by 11:00am they drove away. Professional men no BS. We have worked with Action Tree Service three times now and they are fantastic. My neighbors use them too. They trim the four trees on our property and do a beautiful job. They use proper procedures for sealing exposed branches. I've always paid a fair price and all of the employees are professional, knowledgeable, and clean up after themselves. Friendly and fast service with reasonable pricing. Did a great job of trimming and cleanup of yard. Would give 5 stars if crew didn't leave water bottles on my roof and missed some dead limbs in tree in front yard. Revising my review. We had used Action Tree Service previously for removal of our neighbor's 50-foot hackberry tree which had decided to land in our backyard. We were pleased with their work and recently scheduled them for some trimming and roofline clearance. Two days before they were to begin, one of our cedar elms lost a large main branch. Travis and his crew took care of removing the damaged tree along with the original requested trimming work. We were once again pleased with both their work and their price. ~ Mike G

OUTSTANDING! In the past 12 years we have tried multiple tree trimming / arborist companies. Until now they have all been disasters; Action Tree Service is the real deal. They are professional and knowledgeable. We will never use anyone else, and neither should you. For the first time ever, my wife was not in tears after an arbor / tree trimming service butchered our trees. Action Tree Service was great and the price was more than fair. Unfortunately I can’t remember the names of everyone I talked to but from the person who came out and gave me the estimate to the person I spoke to in their office to make payment to Tony and his crew who came out and did the trimming…everyone was just extremely kind and easy to work with. On top of that, they did a great job and my trees look great! This is my second time using Action Tree Service and won’t be my last! ~ Colin B
